Aussie Net
Aussie Net is a netball coaching and development program that caters for five to seven year old girls introducing them to the basics of netball. It encompasses development of motor skills, fitness and socialisation with other children.
Aussie Net is great fun and non-competitive. It's simply letting children develop at their own pace and enjoy themselves in a safe, convenient and friendly environment.
The program is ideal for girls aged between 5-7 years old and aims to provide participants with a positive outlook on physical activity, increased confidence, an emphasis on involvement and the development of a healthy lifestyle.
Sessions are made up of fun, exciting and innovative activities which focus on various skills and teamwork including:
- Warm up and stretching
- Shooting
- Offence
- Body movement
- Passing
- Footwork
- Defence
- Match play
Program Details
- The program runs on Friday afternoons during each school term of the year. It commences at 4.00pm to 4.45pm.
- The program will be conducted for an six (6) week period
- Cost of the program is $50.00 per child
- Participants will receive a pack which will include a netball, drink bottle and/or t-shirt.
